We recognized long ago that there is no one-size-fits-all pricing, because every client’s specific needs are different. That said, our rates are competitive and quite fair. Remember, when you hire Super Copy Editors, you’ll get not only highly accurate copy editing or proofreading, but also individual attention—which larger editing services cannot or will not give you.
We offer these standard services (and more): spelling, punctuation, grammar, word choice, consistency, conciseness, sentence structure, basic logic, and clarity. This goes well beyond what most copy editing services offer—unless you pay them extra.
If you are in a rush, we can most likely return your document to you fully copy edited within a few hours. Our office hours are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern.
We can take on any project, big or small. We have even edited single sentences before. There is a reasonable minimum fee that we must charge for our time: ½ hour.
We can adjust to any specific style you require. We’re very experienced with Chicago Manual of Style, Associated Press, APA, MLA, and New York Times, to name a few. Once we begin working with you, we will compile a personalized style “cheat sheet” for you, if you don’t already have one, so that we can keep everything consistent going forward.
Our business hours are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern, excluding holidays. However, we accept inquiries 24 hours a day, seven days a week, any day of the year. If you send us something after 6 p.m., you will hear back from us around 10 a.m. the next weekday.
Super Copy Editors is based in New York City. We love it here! However, we handle work from all over the world, and members of our hand-picked copy editing team are located across the country.
Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We strive for perfection, and our work is reviewed internally for quality assurance. Of course, we realize that editing quality can be subjective, so here is our guarantee:
“The Super Copy Editors team seeks to provide complete satisfaction to our clients. We strive to service all documents to a high and exacting standard. If you have any questions or concerns about your edited document, please know that we are always available to discuss these with you. We are happy to explain every decision we have made. If you are not 100% satisfied with our work, for any reason at all, we will have another editor from Super Copy Editors read the document again for no extra charge when you request this within five days of receiving it from us.”

Here is our On-Time Guarantee:
“We will complete your project on or before the agreed-upon time, or you do not have to pay us for that project. If your project is large and we split it into milestones (for example, ‘the first 10 chapters by Monday at 3 p.m.’), you do not have to pay us for any milestone that we did not complete on time.”
Absolutely. We never share your private information. In addition, we regularly train our editors in current best practices for maintaining confidentiality and protecting your information. It’s very important to us because we know it’s important to you. Of course, we’re happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement with you as well. We work with major pharmaceutical companies and know our way around 25-plus-page NDAs. They’re not a problem.
Insurance is part of any legitimate business, and Super Copy Editors is no different. Our $2 million policy with Lloyd’s CFC includes both commercial general liability and professional liability (errors & omissions and privacy). If your business requires proof of insurance from us, please just let us know.
Yikes! Definitely not. Any work that you submit to us remains yours and yours alone, even if you accept changes that we suggest to the text. You own the work. Period.
Yes, invoicing is available for corporate accounts. We simply send out an invoice at the beginning of each new month to collect payment.
We accept credit cards, checks, or direct deposit. Our credit card payment processing is handled by Stripe and PayPal. We never see your private payment details because they are held only on Stripe’s or PayPal’s secure servers. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
